So... we made it... picked up the kids and headed to Wisconsin. The drive through Chicago was long, but the hotel was amazing. So big and so cheap... not like the UK.
We arrived at the cabin and were able to spend the first night on our own... it was really nice...
Then on the 4th of July it was the invasion of the Kopecky family... we had 19 for dinner that night... we had our own fireworks display on the lake, along with many other families...
Then we were off to our dear friends house in Staples MN.. had a great time there seeing the kids and them in their new house... we ate fresh veggies from the garden and even got to play a game of Pinochle... the guys won...
Now we are in Lindstrom at Bob's mom's house... it is late and we have been driving for a few hours.. we are off to the Mall of America in the morning with Bob's brother Paul and his girls...
We are planning to spend a couple more days here in the area and then are back to the cabin for our last weekend... before we head back to my parents house in Kentucky for two more weeks of fun and exciting adventures...
I will see if I can get some pictures posted in the next few days!!! We don't have any internet at the cabin!!!

Man what a fun vacation! I can imagine how relaxing it really is being out of England and being able to be with family and close friends! I cannot wait to see photos too!
